Luas commuters warned to prepare for all out strike next month

Anticipation builds...Testing begins on new LUAS line at Spencer Dock Bridge. Pay talks between the sides broke down at the Workplace Relations Commission last night – despite workers almost halving their salary demands of 53 per cent. Trade union SIPTU – who’s representing workers – says it’s now considering balloting its members for all out strike action which could begin in 5 weeks time.
