The National AMAI conference kicks off tomorrow in Listowel. With up to 500 local authority delegates to attend, it will give the town a massive financial injection. The Association Of Municipal Authorities of Ireland will bring in up to a million euro over the course of the 4 day event. Bed and breakfast owners around North Kerry are full. Town Councillors, Town Clerks as well as members of The Oireachtas and the Minister Of The Environment Martin Cullen will all be present.
