32% of the “Kerryman Dingle Marathon” competitors are travelling from overseas
The “Kerryman Dingle Marathon” 2010 has attracted huge overseas interest with 32% of the marathons current entries hailing from countries from as far as New Zealand, Malaysia and the United States. Taking place on the 4th of September, close to 1, 000 runners have already registered for the marathon, and by race day this figure is expected to hit over 3, 500 participants, bringing in an estimated €1.5 million in extra revenue to the area.
