Lidl has lodged a planning application for a new store in Tralee. The German discounter is hoping to develop the new outlet at the former Heiton Buckley site on Edward Street. The company purchased the 3.2 acre site for over one million euro in August. The two storey shop spread over 2,700 square metres will also have a car park for 131 vehicles. Kerry County Council will decide on the application in the coming weeks.
