Land on the Tralee road on the outskirts of Killarney has been rezoned to provide a new shopping complex. The land rezoned from unformulated to residential/ local and neighbourhood services will allow for local shops encompassing both food stores and non food outlets.The rezoning may also allow for houses, apartments and duplexes. The decision to rezone the land was taken at this week`s Town Council meeting in Killarney. Councillor Donal Grady cautiously backed the motion stating any future development would need careful consideration.
