Kerry County Council is calling on rate payers in the county to ensure they have water back up supply of at least twenty four hours. Plans are underway by The Council to begin including the advisory in all water bills to be sent out to businesses in Kerry. It follows a number of water stoppages during the summer months. A number of traders claim they lost business as a result of the water systems breaking down. Ger McNamara is with the Water Services Department in Kerry County Council. He says business need to ensure they have a back up in case of break downs.
