Billy Burke, the Killorglin man awaiting a lung transplant in the UK says he cannot understand the delay in progress with his case. The town of Killorglin ground to a halt earlier today, in a massive show of support for Mr. Burke.Over 40,000 written signatures have been gathered and presented to health minister Michael martin, in a bid to advance Billy Burke`s case. Speaking on ‘The Open Mic’, Mr. Burke said he can’t understand why the wishes of the Irish people aren’t being heeded.
