Killarney solicitor questions where State is spending speed fines revenue

A Killarney solicitor is questioning where the State is spending the proceeds of fines collected for speeding on a particular stretch of Kerry road. The comments follow over 30 cases this week at Killarney District Court involving alleged speeding on the R563 road in Faha East from the end of March to June of this year. The stretch of road has a 60 kilometre an hour speed limit.
