Killarney reports its busiest tourist season in a decade

Killarney is enjoying its busiest tourist season in almost a decade, with some business people reporting an increase in numbers of about ten percent. Irish, American and Spanish visitors are up significantly on recent years, though the British market remains stagnant. Main Street, Killarney President of Killarney Chamber of Tourism and Commerce, Johnny McGuire, says last year marked the turning point for visitor numbers, after a few difficult years.
