Killarney a victim of it’s own success

Tourism providers in Killarney have been told they need to move away from the “Plastic Paddy” image. Chief Executive of Cork Kerry Tourism Maura Moynihan says in some ways the town is a victim of its own success and now has a poor perception in many guide books. She says what’s needed is a rebranding and a co-ordinated remarketing of the area.
