Kerry’s Live Register has fallen by over 11 per cent in a year. That’s according to the latest data from the Central Statistics Office for March. Last month, 11,771 people signed on in Kerry’s seven social welfare offices, compared to 13,304 for March 2015. That represents an 11.5 per cent annual drop and a 6 per cent drop in a month. All Kerry offices report monthly drops, Killarney has the largest drop (248) to 1,960 followed by Tralee (179) to 5,008 and Kenmare (111) to 441. Elsewhere, Listowel falls to 2,208, Caherciveen to 473, Dingle to 731 and Killorglin to 950.
