Kerry’s Chief Superintendent is to retire. Pat Sullivan was promoted to the role in May 2010. Chief Superintendent Pat Sullivan The Chief Superintendent is originally from Glengarriff in West Cork and has been a member of the force since 1975. He previously worked along the border in Northern Ireland and in Limerick, but spent the majority of his career in Kerry. Chief Superintendent Sullivan will retire on Saturday January 23rd. No replacement has yet been selected.
