Kerry tourist industry concerned about further work stoppages at Irish Rail

trainTourist industry representatives in Kerry have expressed concern about the impact of any prolonged continuation of the current industrial action at Irish Rail. No train services operated to or from Kerry over the last two days as part of the pay dispute involving members of SIPTU and the NBRU and further work stoppages are scheduled. Patrick O’Donoghue of the Gleneagle Hotel in Killarney says that the immediate impact of the last two days of stoppages are hard to immediately quantify.
