Kerry swimmers urged to take care during Christmas dips

Christmas Day is one of the busiest days for swimming along the Kerry coast and one of the regular participants in the Fenit swim is advising people to take care in the water tomorrow. Fenit Lighthouse by Kirk Kelly There are dozens of Christmas dips scheduled for tomorrow with swimmers expected to dive in and whip up their appetites for the turkey and ham. Billy Ryle, who describes himself as a seasoned swimmer, is encouraging everyone to get in and out of the water quickly and to enjoy the experience.
