A National Cup tie is the main underage game locally this weekend. Matches are also down for decision in the Kerry Schoolboys League. Reporting is Padraig Harnett [audio_player src=”http://media.radiokerry.ie/mediamanager/embed/audio/20547/medium/”] There’s 6 games tonight in the SSE Airtricity League Premier Division. Shamrock Rovers host Sligo Rovers, Athlone take on Cork City, Bray face UCD, Derry clash with St Pats, Dundalk take on Bohemians and Limerick face Drogheda at Thomond Park. All of those games kick off at 7.45 except the one in Tallaght which starts at five past seven. Leeds United’s players are to be paid some of their wages for this month – but have agreed to defer the rest. They were due to be paid in full today, but Professional Footballers’ Association chief executive Gordon Taylor says the team has received some money this morning and will get some more next week. There’s currently an on-going dispute over whether Massimo Cellino should be the one paying the players – even though his bid to take over the club has been blocked by the Football League.
