Kerry had its wettest day in 34 years in February of this year. Valentia Observatory reported its wettest day in 34 years on the 16th of February with 43.6 mm of rainfall. The figures are from the latest Met Eireann weather summaries. There was above average rainfall everywhere with all stations reporting above their Long-Term Average (LTA) rainfall. The winter just gone was wetter and milder than normal across the country.
