Kerry and Irish community praised for relief efforts following Grenfell Tower fire

A woman with Kerry connections is thanking the Kerry and Irish community in London for their help following the Grenfell Tower Fire.

Trisha Madden whose mother comes from Ballydonoghue says she has been overwhelmed and inundated with help and donations since she began an effort to provide for the survivors of the fire who have lost their homes.

Ms Madden who grew up in West London says what began with two transit vans full of supplies grew to a warehouse full.

She says the Irish community has been very supportive with Irish construction companies offering vans and drivers:
