Kerry IFA members to begin voting next week for next President and Deputy President

Thousands of Kerry members of the Irish Farmers’ Association will begin to cast their votes next Tuesday for the next President and Deputy President of the group. IFA Farmers logo The elections are happening earlier than expected following a major pay scandal which rocked the IFA late last year. Kenmare’s Flor McCarthy is bidding to become the first Kerry man to be IFA President. He will be battling it out against Laois man Henry Burns and Galway’s Joe Healy for the top position. 68 branches in Kerry will vote on various dates from March 29th until April 14th. The count will take place on April 19th in Dublin.
