The Kerry Hospice Foundation says money raised from its annual coffee morning, being held today, in hundreds of venues around the county, will go towards funding its new day care centre. Foundation Chairman Ted Moynihan says Kerry Hospice hopes to surpass the 3 hundred thousand euro raised last year. Na Gael GAA club and Kerins O Rahillys are among 75 venues hosting events in Tralee. Mr Moynihan says funds will be used for home care services and for a 3 point 5 million euro palliative day care centre on the grounds of Kerry General Hospital. He says the project is in initial stages.
