Kerry Group is reporting a full year pre-tax profits rise of 8.5%. The food technology group made a profit of almost €603m for the year to the end of December, with revenues reaching €6.1 billion in 2015. Kerry Group is best known as the company behind brands like Dairygold, Dennys and Cheesestrings, however the majority of its revenue and profit comes from its taste and nutrition division. This supplies flavourings and ingredients to food, drink and pharmaceutical companies. The company said this area had grown well despite 2015 being a challenging year, and noted that consumer demand has remained weak.
