Kerry’s David Higgins has missed the cut at the BMW PGA Championship. The cut fell at 1 over, with Higgins 4 over after a second day 73. Graeme McDowell is the only Irish player in the weekend field – he’ll resume from 2-under par. Danny Willett holds a share of the lead heading into day three. The Masters champion sits on 10-under par at the half-way point of the tournament, which leaves him tied at the top of the leaderboard with Korea’s Y.E Yang and Australian Scott Hend. Bryce Molder is the leader of the Dean & Deluca Invitational. He’s 9 under after 15 holes of his second round, with play suspended due to darkness. Molder is one ahead of Webb Simpson, with Jordan Spieth and Patrick Reed 2 back. First in the Senior PGA Championship is held by Rocco Mediate. A 66 took him to 14 under, which is 4 better off than Gene Sauers. Ariya Jutanugarn holds top spot at the LPGA Volvik Championship. She’s 11 under following a 68, two clear of So Yeon Ryu, Christina Kim and Marina Alex.
