Kerry County Council is reminding everyone to exercise caution today as two weather warnings remain in force for Kerry. Met Éireann has issued a Status Orange wind warning for Kerry today which will be in place until midnight tonight. Strong winds and gusts are forecast and motorists are advised to watch out for debris and fallen branches on roads. Meanwhile, exceptionally high waves along Atlantic coasts are forecast for today and the council is urging people to avoid exposed coastal areas today and to secure property vulnerable to strong winds.
