Kerry County Council hopes to have 300 new tenancies in place this year

Pa Daly SF 1Kerry County Council plans to buy 40 houses this year across its four municipal districts. About 130 vacant houses are also expected to be returned to the council’s housing stock and let to qualified applicants this year. Sinn Féin councillor Pa Daly had asked management to clarify how many council managed houses would be ready for rent this year. He was told the council expected a further 300 tenancies to be in place by the end of the year under its Leasing and Rental Accommodation Scheme.
