Kerry County Council has been granted an allocation of 395,000 euro from the Dept. for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government under the National Disability Strategy. The funding will be used to provide disability awareness training, preparation of accessibility audits, adaptation of information systems and supply of equipment to people with special needs. Minister for Arts, Sport & Tourism, John O’Donoghue has welcomed the allocation.
