Kerry County Council engineer says Tralee traffic plan will go ahead

An engineer with Kerry County Council says a contentious plan for Tralee town centre will be going ahead. The Mall TraleeThe local authority says it must take a balanced view on the plan, which will see the Mall pedestrianised and the taxi rank relocated, and listen to all voices in the town. Traders in the town have raised concerns about the impact of the plan on their businesses. Engineer with Kerry County Council Eamon Scanlon is to address a meeting of Tralee Chamber Alliance members tomorrow evening.
