Kerry cancer patient spent 13 hours waiting for hospital bed in final days

A Tralee man has described how his brother, who was suffering from cancer, spent 13 hours waiting for a bed in University Hospital Kerry in the days before his death. University Hospital Kerry Anthony O’Connor was later admitted to a ward in the hospital where his brother Michael says he received brilliant care from staff. Michael says Irish people are entitled to a proper health system and believes everyone is passing the buck.
