A three-day walking trail offering hill walkers and pilgrims an opportunity to walk in the footsteps of St Brendan has begun in Kerry this weekend. The Kerry Camino walk began yesterday from Tralee to Camp with 170 walkers setting off following a blessing by Fr. Sean Hanafin at St. Johns Church, Tralee. Today will see walkers walk from Camp to Annauscaul, and tomorrow from Annauscaul to Dingle. The Kerry Camino is an off-road walking route based on one of the world’s most renowned walking routes, Camino de Santiago in Spain. The walking experience was created in a bid to increase the amount of tourists coming to the county.
