Kerry Airport is not commenting on profit or loss figures ahead of the publication of the 2012 annual report in the next couple of weeks. A spokesperson for the Airport says the loss of €1m for 2012 that has been reported relates to the loss made in 2011. The Kerry Airport AGM is expected to take place at the end of June. The airport has confirmed that passenger numbers for last year are expected to show a drop to about 290,000, which is a fall of 30% on peak passenger numbers in 2008. The loss of the Manchester flight in 2011 and the reduction in Dublin flights to twice daily have contributed to the reduction in passengers.
