Mike O'Shea Greenland Ice-Cap This time, Mike O’Shea is inviting a member of the public to join The Ice Project team, which is heading to the island of South Georgia in November in a 60ft expedition yacht from the Falklands – a round trip of over 1,800 miles. They will climb two unnamed peaks, one of which O’Shea hopes to name after an Irish explorer, in the four-week trail. But the Beaufort native warns this is not a holiday or a cruise.
