Kerry Under 21 Manager Feels The Familiar Style Of Play An Advantage To His Players

Jack O’Connor’s U21 Kerry footballers face Clare in the Munster Quarter Final tonight.

Brian Ó Beaglaoich is a notable absentee from the side due to injury while the Dr Crokes trio of Gavin White, Micheál Burns and Jordan Kiely are Clubtied.

The majority of the Kerry side were part of Jack O’Connor’s All Ireland minor winning teams in 2014 and 2015.

He told Radio Kerry’s Tim Moynihan, he hopes the familiar style of play will be an advantage to his players…

Clare selector Neil Hawes is happy with the preparation leading up to tonight’s game and believes there is a solid strength within this Clare team.

Kerry vs Clare throws in at 7.30 in Austin Stack’s Park and will be broadcast live on Radio Kerry.

The other game in Munster sees Tipperary welcome Limerick while in Leinster – Louth welcome Laois and in Ulster Antrim take on Monaghan.

All of those matches throw in at 7.30 except the Antrim vs Monaghan game which starts at 8.
