A Kenmare school is to install a CCTV system outside the building as a deterrent against vandalism. Principal of the school Dermot Healy says in four years they have had a few minor incidents and the cameras are just a way of protecting the property. He says they are in a very accessible location and cameras are more favourable than a huge perimeter fence. He says the cameras are not a reflection on students or staff.
