Kenmare Mart turns pink

Kenmare Mart was pretty in pink today. FREE PIC***FREE PIC*** All in Pink…Launching the ‘Pink Hat’ day at Kenmare Mart Co-op, Co Kerry, which will be held on Monday, 8th February, 2016 at, in aid of Recovery Haven, Co Kerry. Recovery Haven provide support for those living with cancer, their families and carers. The aim is make a world record of the most amount of people wearing pink hats at a mart at one time. The Hats have been kindly sponsored by Dairymaster - a world leader in dairy equipment manufacturing,located in Causeway Co Kerry. At the launch were from left, Mike Tim O’Sullivan, Chairman, Kenmare Mart, Anita Donovan, Dairymaster, Cllr Dan McCarthy, Manager Kenmare Mart, Mary Mulvihill, Dairymaster, Mary McCarthy, Kenmare Mart, Mikey Joe Murphy, dairy farmer and Eugene O’Sullivan, Oldest Drover in Ireland.Photo:Valerie O’Sullivan/NO REPRO/FREE PIC Over 500 people turned out for a fundraising event in aid of Recovery Haven to set a record for the most pink hats worn at a mart at one time. The event, which was supported by Dairymaster, raised over 3,000 euro for the cancer support house. The victorious Templenoe Junior Footballers also made a guest appearance.
