The backers of a 70 million euro leisure development in Kenmare claim they will not be competing with the surrounding tourism projects. Planning permission has been lodged for construction of a five star resort on 40 acres at Dromquinna. According to PJ O` Regan one of the promoters, 80 jobs will be created once the project is complete. He says they will be retaining most of the features of the original manor.
