Kenmare celebrates its biggest day of the year today, the annual 15th of August fair. The fair has been taking place for hundreds of years in the town with sheep cattle and street traders wares for sale. Gardai are advising those travelling to the town to leave extra time for getting there as traffic is busy on all approaches to the town. There are traffic and parking control measures in place in and around the town.
