Judge to resume charge to jury in Fenit and Barrow drugs trial

The trial of a Polish man who is charged with 17 counts of drug-related offences will resume at Tralee Circuit Court this morning. 36-year-old Rafal Fiszer, with an address at 20 Academy Street, Navan, Co Meath has pleaded not guilty to all individual counts on dates from September to November 2014. The charges faced by Rafal Fiszer include possession of cannabis, possession with intent to supply, possession of cannabis worth over €13,000, having false IDs and driving licenses as well as the cultivation of the drug at 2A Lighthouse Village, Fenit and Barrow House. Tralee Cannabis Grow House Mr Fiszer denies the charges. Yesterday, prosecution and defence delivered their closing arguments. Judge Tom O’Donnell began his charge to the jury yesterday afternoon. Court was adjourned until 10 o’clock this morning when the judge will resume his charge to the jury.
