IT Tralee receives ‘Category 2’ designation having made “adequate progress”

A series of assessment and targets set for third level institutes has been described as “a welcome departure for the third level sector”. IT Tralee Vice President of Research & Development Bríd McElligott said the assessment process – developed by the Higher Education Authority on the recommendations of the Hunt Report – will help set objectives for third level institutes to achieve. ITT IT Tralee has been given ‘Category 2’ designation – having made “adequate progress”.
