Ireland Defeat Oman 2-0

Soccer SeatsIreland have picked-up a morale-boosting 2-0 victory over Oman in last night’s international friendly at the Aviva Stadium. Goals in either half from Kevin Doyle and Alex Pearce helped Martin O’Neill’s side to a fully deserved victory. Doyle’s 20th minute header from a Robbie Brady corner gave the home side the lead at the break before Pearce showed some good footwork inside the penalty area before stabbing-home a low shot.
