Influential international media in Kerry for Wild Atlantic Way super showcase

A group of international media are in Kerry this week enjoying a showcase of the Wild Atlantic Way. The group with an overall reach of over 4.6 million arrived in Ireland this week as part of a series of “super showcase events” organised by Fáilte Ireland. Wild Atlantic Way The group is being taken along the Wild Atlantic Way, Ireland’s first long-distance touring route and are currently in Kerry exploring its many attractions. Today they met the newly crowned Rose of Tralee, Maria Walsh, together with the Mayor of Tralee Jim Finucane at the Kerry County Museum after a Heritage walk of Tralee town with Helen O’Carroll, curator. This evening the group are in Annascaul and Dingle. Fáilte Ireland is investing €10m during 2014 in the route which stretches from the Inishowen Peninsula in Donegal to Kinsale in County Cork.
