Impact seeks meeting with County Manager over staffing issue

Impact has sought a meeting with The County Manager over staffing procedures in the county. The union has an issue with a manner in which an administrative position was advertised. The discrepancy has caused some disquiet from impact members in Kerry County Council and Listowel Town Council.Impact has over 300 local authority members in Kerry. They say they were alerted to the situation after a vacancy in Listowel Town Council was filled. Meanwhile a traffic warden is expected to be appointed shortly in the town. The has been no active traffic warden in the town in the last three weeks. Despite the vacancy The Council says fines have been issued in the last three weeks.
