Anglers in North Kerry have uncovered a major illegal dumping operation along the banks of rivers. A clean up along 300 metres of the Clydach Bridge River and the Feale River accumulated in 62 bags of rubbish being collected in less than four hours.Scientific evidence has shown that the River Feale is one of the finest fishing grounds in the country. Brendan Danagher is PRO of the Mountcollins Brosna Angling Club and says there is no state agency monitoring the banks. He says there are serious implications for our water supply.
