The Irish Farmers Association in the county is extremely disappointed with the announcement by Kerry Group to cut milk prices. The price will be cut by 2 cent per gallon in May and a further two cent in June. The newly elected Chairman of the Kerry branch of the IFA John Stack says the dairy premium of agenda 2000 will not make up for these latest cuts. He says the farmers should not be the only ones to bare the brunt of these cutbacks.
