IDA pledges to work with new owner of Sara Lee in Killarney

The IDA has pledged to work with whoever buys the Sara Lee facility in Killarney to attract a replacement industry to the town. It’s emerged today that a board of trustees in Killarney is to negotiate with the company to buy the factory which will close next month. IDA manager in the south west conor Healy says the quality of infrasture is key when it comes to bringing jobs to an area. Meanwhile he has defended the IDA’s record in Kerry saying investment is going into the county.
