A spokesperson for Iarnrod Eireann says compensation is available for rail passengers who were delayed by yesterday`s breakdown. The 9.15am train from Tralee broke down on the main Killarney/Cork road causing major delays to traffic and rail passengers. The locomotive failed as the train reached Minish crossing. Passengers on the train were bused to Mallow railway station to continue their journeys. Andrew Roche says people on the train are entitled to compensation and should apply to Iarnrod Eireann.
