The Chairman of The Vintners Association in Listowel says he s confident there will be lights in Listowel. However with twenty four shopping days left to go there is still no sign of Christmas lights in the town. The Vintners Association has contributed to this years fund for lights. However Radio Kerry News understands there is an outstanding debt from last years programme. It can take up to a week to put up the lights in the town. Tralee is beginning its Christmas programme this weekend. While Killarney will kick off its season on the eighth of December.
