Health services, jobs, and crime are the issues that are most important to Kerry voters. Taxation and broadband availability were also among the issues highlighted in a poll carried out by Ipsos MRBI for TG4. Health services were described as very important by 87% of participants, the figure was even higher among women at 92%. 84% of those surveyed referenced jobs and employment, and 64% crime. Broadband availability was an issue for 63% of people and taxation for 60%. There was a resounding no from 87% of people when asked if they thought that economic conditions in Kerry had recovered enough for emigrants to return home. 64% of people felt there was a reduction in safety in their area in recent years. The poll was carried out among 500 adults in Kerry last Thursday and Friday.
