Health, jobs and crime identified as top election issues in Kerry

Health services, jobs, and crime are the issues that are most important to Kerry voters. Taxation and broadband availability were also among the issues highlighted in a poll carried out by Ipsos MRBI for TG4. TG4 logo Health services were described as very important by 87% of participants, the figure was even higher among women at 92%. 84% of those surveyed referenced jobs and employment, and 64% crime. Broadband availability was an issue for 63% of people and taxation for 60%. There was a resounding no from 87% of people when asked if they thought that economic conditions in Kerry had recovered enough for emigrants to return home. 64% of people felt there was a reduction in safety in their area in recent years. The poll was carried out among 500 adults in Kerry last Thursday and Friday.
