Health care workers meet to discuss industrial action

Health care workers in the county are looking for assurances that they will not be forced to move once The Southern Health Board is abolished in January. The 50 staff are meeting later today to discuss industrial action over what they say is uncertainty over their future. They’re also looking for assurances on job security and working conditions. A number of services are being centralised and according to Bernard Harbour of Impact they want a written assurance that they will not have to move.
