The Government needs a robust integration plan for refugees coming to this country. The Immigrant Council of Ireland says family rights, access to education, training, as well as accommodation must be prioritised. The calls come as a government taskforce, led by the Department of Justice, meets this afternoon to consider whether to accept hundreds of pledges of free accommodation for asylum seekers from Syria and other countries.
