Glenbeigh resident condemns rising tide of illegal dumping

There is a battle in Kerry now against the rising tide of illegal dumping.

That’s according to Glenbeigh resident Fred McDonagh who was left shocked by the level of dumping at Rossbeigh beach when he visited there yesterday with his family.

Shoes, nappies, newspapers, bottles and even human waste were dumped along the shoreline.

The area was battered in 2014 following severe storms and local fundraising has gone into restoring the Blue Flag beach to its former glory to be one of the highlights of the Wild Atlantic Way.
