Gardai are describing the number of arrests for public order offences last night as high. Over thirty five people were arrested under the public order act. The majority of the offences were committed in the square where a fight broke out. It brings to almost a hundred the number of people arrested since Saturday night.Extra Garda were been drafted in from other districts around the county in a bid to limit the number of public order offences. Meanwhile business in Tralee are complaining that visitor numbers are continuing to fall but festival organisers say they are confident that revenue will increase in time of the 50th anniversary of the Rose.
