Gardai in Listowel say they have questioned a man in connection with the stabbing incident in Kilflynn in North Kerry Thursday night. They say their enquiries are ongoing. Meanwhile a woman and a man are in a stable condition at Kerry General. The female victim was admitted to hospital having alerted a member of the public. She had been in a critical condition. The male later admitted himself to Kerry General. Gardai say they believe the incident was an isolated one and are not looking for anybody else in connection with the assault.
